My FD lives!!

Hi, just wanted to put a thanks to the forum and its community. There's a wealth of collective knowledge (and excelent parts) available to whoever seeks it.

I picked up my FD off a member a few months back, and I'm finally driving it!

Random specs/info:
chassis: '93 touring
engine: '95 JDM 13b-rew
Other: tein springs, poly engine and diff mounts, 3" exhaust, open air filter, modded oem ductwork, braided clutch line, c's shifter w/ mazdaspeed bushing.

Misc notes: JDM engine (emissions) harness works - (pieced info from a few threads). Simply re route harness to pass side (us), extend oil pressure wire, Repin blue 12p connector to us spec 10p connector (JDM has same colors and 1 extra wire). Extra brown/yellow wire from that (jdm fuel thermo) goes to white plug (up behind blower motor) in the empty spot that goes to a blue wire (us fuel thermo).

Car runs phenomenally, have a good one everybody!

Congrats. Nice to see a positive "can do...and did" thread once in a while.

Thanks all. There were a few learning curves but I tried my best and I'm pretty happy lol.

@tem120 I was thinking of boost creep issues, no cat using a 3" turbo back. I was thinking of a solution for possibly controlling it (boost control) - still more reading up on the subject.

I didn't have the boost pills, used some carb jets sized about stock (can't remember off my head, I'm on my phone). Im waiting till I get a boost gauge and tidy up some I/c pipes n clamps then I'll work with any boosting issues that show up.

So far runs very smoothly, I'll get another mid pipe (or fab one up) with a cat for emissions (eventually).

Other thing I'll do some more ductwork and misc stuff by spring.

@quack3r - "if one guy can do it, so can I" u got this, jus keep on it!
