Congratulations! Very nice and clean looking FD! You have now fullfilled your destiny and joined us on the dark side....

I don't mind the single wiper, maybe ricers do that elsewhere but I haven't seen it here. It doesn't look bad to me and I definitely prefer the low key look (no wings or spoilers on my FD).

BTW, listen to the others here! Do NOT repaint that car. Atleast not yet. That paint looks to be in good condition and black FDs do look mean. If you want it CYM, wait until you get vandalized or something along those lines. Also, a complete repaint, engine bay and everything will cost you atleast $6-7k for a good job. Maybe more. Spend that money where it counts first. VR was not my first color choice but I still love my FD and wouldn't consider changing the color.

awesome car, love the black! i've owned a black car and i own a black car still and i totally understand the whole swirl thing. its really difficult to take care of but if you do take care of it well (as you should with any rx-7) the rewards are fantabulous. black is simply an awesome RICH color. when its clean, its like whoa! congrats!

One wiper is fine on cars that have one wiper (some Mercedes, etc.). Removing a wiper from a car that has two looks stupid and doesn't work well (too slow, doesn't sweep wide enough, stuck in the middle of the windshield, etc.). Heavy emphasis on the "looks stupid" part.

is there any point in having a single wiper? does it do a better job opposed to have 2 wipers?? i've never understood why people do that. and the new mercedes have only a single wiper, i dunno, dont get it. anyways, nice car, and um dont paint it cym. like someone else said, if you want cym, then go buy a real cym i honestly like it black, black is a sexy color, and when washed looks damn fine
