My FD is gonna be sold for like $10
I just bought my FD in May for $12,000. It had 99K on it then, and now has 108K. I am looking to sell it in the spring, and I know it's gonna go for like $10,000 unless I hold off for the right enthusiast. Basically, when someone runs the VIN check they are gonna see the 2 accidents I have been in with it. Lol, 18 year old with an FD right? Not quite. The first was a hit and run by a drunk driver, I think I posted about it. Anyways, extremely minimal damage to the back bumper, that's taken care of by his insurance. And the second accident which was a result of me being an 18 year old. A friend egged me on to do something that I'd never do otherwise cuz I love my car, and I paid dearly for it. I hit something and the front bumper and 1/4 are bent. Regardless that I am taking care of it, and putting aftermarket parts on both bumper and fenders, my car ain't gonna bring in anywhere near what I paid for it. The only hope I have is that I live on the Southside of Chicago where there are a lot of racers and no RX-7's(most are either north of Chicago or on the northern part of the city). I don't want to sell it at all, but I am planning the purchase of a house or a business. I figured I'd rather start making money young and buy the car later when it's not a big financial fiasco as it has been for a lot of people. I look at it this way, there are quite a few people on this forum with over $30-50K in their cars alone, and I don't want to be one of those people with that money invested in my car unless I have substantially more than that in the bank. Quite practical, but most 18 year olds just can't see it.
i still hate how people always see 18 year olds and automatically give them **** for being young with a fast car. I am 18 and feel that i am pretty responsible with my car and i've been to track days so i know how my car handles and what i can do and can't. But yes friends do often egg peopel to do things they normally wouldn't. Sry to hear about your car man.

You may feel you are mature now, but I guarantee that in ten years you'll look back at yourself at 18 and think what a dumbfuck you were...Or maybe it's just me.

10k will only buy you a week out with a really good hooker or 2 haha. Do you really think you can buy a house or a business with that? also, what was the point of this thread again?
P.S. what are you planning to drive after you sell your fd for 10k? I hope your not in the market for a new honda which will run you 16-20k

Is it normat for your dick to change colour after your sisters friend suscks it?
Dude you are making a dumb choice. 10k wont even get you a decent used honda, nevermind a busness or house. Unless you are getting the worlds biggest barbie house or sumptin.
Keep the car, get the *****, **** the house, live off the parents for as long as possible. You'll understand when you are living on your own.

I can afford the car just fine. I do have money in the bank as well. Really all I wanted from this thread was feedback on how much I could get for the car. I'm pretty sure nobody that's posted here knows a lot about real estate. I'm not saying I'm an expert, but I do have very credible sources and people guiding my thoughts as to how it works. It's not only me who is buying a house, but my brother as well. He's good friends with a few people who have bought and sold real estate their whole lives. You can get away with putting 5% down on a forclosed property, and when you are working with people who know their way around rehabbing, you live in the house, pay rent, work another job, and put money into the house until it sells. You can easily get a business loan too, the funny thing is that all you guys flamed me without having an idea of how much money I have in my bank account to start with. Quick tongues, slow brains... I'm in college too by the way, business major, oh yeah, graduated 17 out of 200 in high school too... I'll get my report card scanned if you really want me to, hell, why don't I just throw my w-2's on here too so you ignorant ***** can see that I had 2 jobs throughout high school. Maybe it would teach you not to open your ******* mouths so quickly.
