My Entire Car Was Smoking, WTF?

Drove it up to the mountains today and the whole car was smoking after I reached the top. I didnt drive really hard and I dont think the car got too hot. My fans were on all the time. Popped the hood and the engine bay was giving out white smoke, so did the area underneath the chassis. Then the cockpit started smoking from the transmission (near the shift ****). I cooled the car down and it stopped smoking. It happened before when my car got hot (no overheating at normal operating temp.) but I didnt pay much attention to it. WTF?

Not sure about the tip of the exhaust, but the area near the cat. was smoking. It's like the whole car was burning.

did it smell sweet? If it did, it sounds like a coolant leak, check your coolant level

I dont think so, coolant system should be fine. The level is always at full too.

if its not coolant, the only other thing is a oil leak. Ususally you could see lots of smoke when one of the oil lines on the turbos busted and all the oil dumps on the DP and other hot areas.

is the exhaust rattling? maybe it loosened up at the catalyst, or one of the gaskets at a flange is leaking badly. sounds like either that or oil dripping onto a hot manifold or something.

Did your temp guage go above horizontal ever? Check your coolant lines and oil lines going into the turbocharger. If either splits, it makes a stinky smoky mess on your DP and cat.
