My embarrassing story!

I was headed home from slidell, La to my home in Gulfport, Ms. I just got over the brigde and passed the weigh station. Im going 90 mph and pass a 2nd gen with no tailights. He comes right up to play with me. i slow down to 80 and get ready to hit 3rd. He takes off i go into 3rd and my car hit 13 psi and just sort of died and he left me in the dust. i was so scared i blew my engine i didnt hear any detinating and a cop pulled out of the dark bushes. and took after us. my buddy was freaking out about the officer that was about to get us. and i didnt even care i was like frantic thinking i just popped my motor that has 29,000 miles on it. the FC slows down i get in front of him and i go on my merry little way. still wondering about my car. the hancock county deputy. goes right around him with no tailights and pulls me over. now im really pissed. give me a ticket for 89 in a 70. come to find out that 3 hours ago that one of my elbows wasnt all the way put back together and blew off my greddy SMIC (the 90 that goes between the pipe that connects to my "y" pipe and IC) I was relieved to know that it was a boost leak and there was no real damage to my car. but what if that pipe didnt come off? what if i hit 3rd @ 80 and shot up to 120...... Mabe a blessing in disguise

I didn't even notice that haha, maybe this should be in the lounge?

On the other hand, he is informing people that if you are not boosting correctly, it may be a coupler

+1 for blessing in disguise.

You have a boost gauge but couldn't see that you had a boost leak? How's that possible? If you hit 13PSI then suddenly it drops to 0PSI or vac, it's pretty obvious it'd be a boost leak..

Glad your motor's not blown though. Are you tuned for 13PSI?

If he posted this in the lounge, it'd get moved to general automotive because there's mention of a car It should probably be in the kills section.
