My car weight 1175kg now
I removed a/c. 10kg with everything .
Two standard car seat removed weight 17.5 kg each and replaced with fibreglass once Weight 4kg each.
Back seat removed with back support ,
Spare tyre ,jack, and all other bits from the boot removed.
Also my whole body kit is fibreglass witch is lighter than standard body .
Total weight lose just over 55kg
Is that gonna gain some extra hp at all?
And faster on road ?
Thanks

The car will be more efficient and accelerate faster being lighter, though.

F1 car's are fast around a track because of said downforce . but about them being the fastest things on earth thats a bit incorrect if the F1 car didnt have all that downforce it could be much faster in a straght line but would be slower overall because it wouldnt be able to turn a corner nearly as fast . F1 cars can take a corner with 6G's of lateral grip . the fact taht they dont have to slow down makes them fast or not slow down nearly as much

but remember downforce , will decrease your MPG's your straight line speeds , and acceleration . in exchange for better cornering if done right .

Just as an example lets say a car weighs 1000kg and has a 100hp engine.
That would mean the car has 1hp for every 10kg of weight. (1000 divided by 100)
Or a power to weight ratio of 1 horsepower per 10kg.
(to keep it simple) Now lets say we reduce the weight of the car all the way down to 500kg and keep the same 100hp engine.
The car now has 1 horsepower for every 5kg of weight or DOUBLE the POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO. It will therefore be MUCH faster...
The engine didnt GAIN any horsepower - but that same engine now has to do much less work to move & accelerate the car and is therefore faster.
Why do you think trucks are slow? They have like 500 + hp!? its because they have to move alot of weight- so even though they have a big powerful engine they have a poor power to weight ratio.
If two cars have an engine that produces the same amount of HP. the car that is the lightest should be faster as the engine has less weight to move...
Make sense?

Yea you should be able to.
What does the GTR weigh and how much HP does it have?
You weigh 1175 kg, and have 400hp - so you have a power to weight ratio of 1 hp per 2.9kg of weight.
Just divide the GTR's weight by its horsepower and see who has a better power to weight ratio

That fueling needs to be addressed, unless you want to do a rebuild soon..

I think the GTR weight 1800kg and has 550bhp but it has very new technology 4wd make it launch without spinning ,but if we both drive on sec gear and start maybe I got a chance ...

I'm gunna go ahead and throw the bullshit flag on this one. 4x 850cc injectors isn't really enough fuel to be pushing 400 brake, sorry mate. Either your tuner lied to you, your base fuel pressure is way too high, or your engine is running on borrowed time.

now if you want ot keep up with a GTR that would still be difficult , 150 hp diff is alot . even with the FD on a diet .
also what suspension do you have? what tires ?

I want to go 1680cc but my tuner said engine can't take more power so I don't know who to listen to forums or tuners ...
