I just got my 94 RX7 today. Its an automatic. My problem is that it shifts at 5200 RPM. And the turbo's kick in at 5000. It won't let me shift with the automatic either. When I put it in low it shifts at 5200?!?! It won't let me shift. Does the "hold" thing have anything to do with it? I really need some help with this. Thanks.

you won't get much help here. try joining the auto FD group on yahoo groups. was a great place to exchange ideas, but has been slow of late. i'm not sure how to join. there was a thread about it. you might try a search. i'm too tired.

 

Hey, I have a manual, and I am envious of the hold button. I may just make a GB for us poor deprived manual guys for a shift **** with a big *** red button with the word "Hold" embossed on it. It would activate the rear hatch middle finger like in that movie back when we were 10 that had that one guy who had a nitros charged car that out ran mystical power running through power lines. what the hell was the name of the movie? Kills me, oh well.

 

Wasn't it called "My Science Experiment"?
