My car was like...anemic...this morning. Fine now....

It was kind of weird today. Driving to work, got stopped behind a train, and behind a school bus at the tracks. Now to digress a bit, whenever I am stopped at railroad tracks I shut off my headlights to keep from blinding people I am waiting behind. But this ***-hat gets up behind me about two feet off my bumper, newer car with REALLY bright lights and I have to endure this **** for like 4 minutes whilst this long-*** train goes by. Once by, the bus has to do it's bullshit of pull up, open the door, wait 30 seconds, and then it goes. SO I go to pass the bus and my car is like...anemic/dead/no power. And the ***-hat behind me is right on my ***. I literally had like HALF the acceleration I normally do. Strange. I had like 7 pounds of boost, max. It was almost embarrassing that I was barely out-accelerating the fool behind me, though I was able to do so thank God. I took her up to 120 just for grins, it ran fine, just...slow to get there.

When I went to lunch today, everything was back normal. Full boost, hard acceleration, the works. And it was fine coming home tonight.
I'm wondering if maybe the double-throttle was stuck shut?

I was going to say temp. double throttle makes sence, also if you just got done at a long stop Air temps might have raised a bit and cause a power loss. When I first got my old twins dynoed my best pull was my first after we tuned it and let it cool down made 322 once the intake temps went up power dropped to about 298.

Intake temps wouldn't affect boost levels like that.
I'm glad you made this post baja....this same thing has happened to me. It's rare, but every so often, maybe once or twice since pulling it out of storage this past spring I've had the same experience. I'm pretty careful about getting everything up to operating temp before boost, but IIRC, the times it's happened to me has always been the first time the car is run on that particular day (but not when it's cold), i.e. a few miles after leaving my house. Engine will be getting a rebuild this winter, I'll make a point to check the DT closely.
