Talking my car is back from the shop ! ! !

OOOOHHH MANN...... just got my car back from the shop, and damn, big difference between a 91 N/A and a FD,

i gotta give props to ROB at pineapple racing, he cleaned up a mess left by the previous owner who had an engine fire and decided to not touch anything instead of replacing parts...

i gotta highly suggest Pineapple Racing if you need a motor or if you are in the NW and need your rx7 worked on, he found alot of (FREE) used parts to keep costs down, and he even hooked it up with an extra downpipe he had sittin around the shop.

woooooooooooooooooooooo

here is the motor

Motor 1
Motor 2

and my cars

its shitty cause i ran out of space on my host

So did you get any porting done or not?? I forget if you said you were getting just a stock rebuild or a street port. How's the car feel?? Turbos pull strong?? Oh, that's right you are probably still on your break in. Anyways, I have heard nothing but good things about pineapple.

Sweet, I haven't seen too many rotary ports, so I couldn't tell what kind of porting you had, but they did look a little massaged. Glad to hear you went with a big street port that away you should be able to get more HP out of any upgrades you make.

It should be sitting on a table when you where there. Unless he already got the housings and finished it up.

i bought the car for 5700 (with tranportation from cali) w/ 65k on,
the motor cost me just under 5000, for the 5year/60k warranty motor, with stage 2 porting, stage 3 oil mods, new turbo, new clutch, misc new parts that needed replacement from the engine fire, time on the dyno, and labor

plus taxes, registration, ect........

grand total is just about 11 grand. i think i made out good

You made out really good. Now all you need is a big GT style wing for the back

Nice Job!

Since there were only about 13,000 imported Rex 3 Gens, you have brought one back from the grave.

Enjoy!
