My A/C and Cruise Control have slowly stoped working

Pretty boring stuff but it's very useful to me so I'd like to get it fixed. I have no more ideas. I checked the shop manual but didn't see info on this stuff.

My A/C is a brand new system (R-134a)
It was working perfect up till a month ago. Then one day I got into the car and I turned it on and a bunch of **** from a tree or something started shooting at me though the vents. I let it on long enough for it all to get out but since then the a/c shoots out hot air.

With the cruise control I turn it on from the wheel and the green light comes on the dash but it doesn't come on. It was working every once in a while and now it hasn't worked for a while.

Sorry for boring you to death...if you have any ideas it is better than what I have!

HELP

I at least want to have some ideas when I go to see my mechanic

Every time someone asks a serious question on here or a detailed question nobody replies because the 3d gen section has gone to **** and nobody knows anything past changing spark plugs

Thanks

No idea about the A/C.

With your cruise control - I assume its the same as on my Jap Type X - you have a button on the dash to switch it on, then you have the controls on the steering wheel to set it and adjust it?

What has happened on mine is that I can switch it on on the dash so the switch lights up, but the controls on the wheel no longer do anything. i.e. it doesn't work at all!

Is this what you're seeing? I would love to track this down. I don't think it is a problem with the controls as I've had all that apart.

thanks for the reply

My problem is even weirder than yours
I can switch it on from the dash and then also turn on cruise control from the steering wheel and it lights up on the gauges that it is on and then still nothing happens!

It was working about once every 5 trys before but now nothing no matter what I do.

Is there a manual we can look at for this?

Well, there are the full service manuals available at:
http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/

Though it is pretty hard to follow stuff on those
