The GM of our company is a huge rotary fan, he owned every rotary engined car and truck EXCEPT the FD, so when I got mine running again he came out and checked it out, and was telling me, "I've been looking for a 930 Porsche, but....I may have to check into one of these!" He called me into his office a few days after that and was showing me pics of several FDs he'd found, and was asking a lot of (intelligent) questions about them. He seems to be leaning towards a couple of single-turbo conversion cars.

It would be cool to see him get one. And this guy just spent $40K remodeling his kitchen, so I don't think $$$ are an issue....lol!

 

Heh, that's awesome to have a cool boss like that. Who knows...he may lay down some Benjamins to build two FD-exclusive-onlly parking spaces (like those eBay signs) like they have for "Employee of the Month." Let us know what he finds.

 

got my ol boss to pick one up.. months later.. got a coworker to do the same..
workin for a different firm now and found out the regional vp is a rotary nut with two verts..
when he found out about my interest.. he pulled me into his office and handed me an fd diecast..
