My aluminum AST....

what the hell..... my aluminum AST jsut came in the mail and.... how the hell do i open the cap.... i lift the red lever then what..... hahaha

Is it the grey-speckled Pettit AST? I wish they had a nipple on the bottom canister outlet so you don't have to torque the hose clamp so damn tight.

A bit off-topic but does anyone know where to get the polished AST like the store used to list? I think it had barbed outlets.

i did try to push down and i actually had to push down REALLLY hard. it was to a point that i almost returned the damn tank. im dead serious... im not stupid enough to not know how to open it. i just thought it was some special procedure that you had to do since i couldnt get it opned. sorry to waste everyone's time. btw i just finished doing some spirit driving and it was goooooooooooood god i love the sound of bov's.

and i did search btw.
