Tested the large guage wire on the 10mm bolt on the alternator...showing it is charging. Checked one of the the terminals (the top one) of the clips but not on the clip but rather on the alt and it showed the correct voltage with the ign ON and with the car idling.

The lower terminal is to register approximately 1v registers continuity when touched to the negative on battery but shows Vb when connected to the positive terminal...This is incorrect according to the manual. Really need help here since the lower terminal on the clip to the alternator communicates to the dash cluster and is probably why my cluster is going wacko at idle (see previous thread)
