Wink my 7

well......i dont know how to start......its been quite a few months now since i got my 7. Its a 1998 type R Special edition. (FD3S-422084).
Its the only rx7 in my country. I know most of you'll think that i'm crazy, since there are no proper tuning facilities in Bangladesh (its stock) nor do you find any parts for 7 here. However the shape of the car just got me going.
When i bought the car the engine was blown. It had 51000kms on the chassy. Got it for a very good price. After endless nights and posting stupid questions on this site, i came across this site called www.zimax.co.jp
i bought my engine from them. It took $180 to get it installed, took us about 2 days. (didnt need the manual, though i had downloaded it) And she started at the first crank with lot of assembly lube burning. After a while that very day all the smoke was gone. Holds a vaccum of -44 cmhg.
Along with my engine, i also bought koyo radiator, knightsport hiflow CAT, new keys from Mazda, C-west front end and 99 spec front lights, old spec tail lights (broke my 99 spec ones, got the internals of the original 99 spec lights out, if anyone wants to see i can take pics and post them. Am thinking of putting the 99 spec internals in the pre 1996 housing)
The car came with mazdaspeed springs, mazdaspeed strut bar, sard BOV (no clue why the previous owner installed that), blitz boost gauge, blitz dual turbo timer, two sets of 17 inch wheels (one of them being mazdaspeed MS-01).
I have to get her painted, however am waiting for the rainy season to be over. Am thinking of the titanium grey or some blue.
I want to take this opportunity to thank MAHJIK, for patiently answering all the stupid questions i had and helping me out.
Here are some awful pics, they were taken at night, i'm not at all good with digi cams.

i have a few questions,
1. should i change my steering wheel?? the horn button area is a little worn.
2. What color should i paint her??
3. i want to paint my mazdaspeed ms-01 into white with red mazdaspeed sticker. What do you guys think, should i or shouldnt i?? bwtn it gold now.

Thanks for any inputs.

ANSWERS:
1)- Get an OEM replacement (Why would you want to change the Mona Lisa!)
2)- Paint it to factory color specs (Why would you want to change the Mona Lisa!)
3)- Keep it stock/OEM . (Why would you want to change the Mona Lisa!)

Honestly, you have a very, very nice FD. Keep it Stock/Original with OEM parts.

^yea hes so right.

Dont add a kit or any exterior ****. Doing any kind of decent high quality engine modifications I think would be nice though. That and a sweet stereo setup and your car would be totally godly. Very nice ride, thanks for sharing.
I've never seen a 98 before, im pretty sure they don't make them that high of a year here in north america?

Thanks guys.......

Guess i wont change the Mona Lisa AreXseven, will be looking for an OEM replacement for my MOMO, wont be cheap though i'm sure. About the mazdaspeed wheels it has a lot of scratches thats y i was thinkin of painting it. About painting my 7 ,I'll just paint it the titanium grey then.

BlaCkPlaGUE: i wont add a kit or anything else to it, trust me, nor will i put on a fancy spoiler, i love the stock spoiler the 7 came with.About the stereo, right now i got a sony M600 (YES!!! a SONY), a kenwood DSP, PPI PCX 5800, dyna audio speakers, a monster cable CAP (i know i dont need it) however am waiting on my SUB. About trading cars, i have spent far too many sleepless nights to let her go now j/k. Come down anytime and you can drive my car and i'd love to swap homes, trust me you dont wanna live in a country where you have to import 10W-30 yourself, can find quality gas in only a few places, have to import oil filter, plugs......everything coz there aint a mazda dealer (THANK GOD!!). We dont have any dynos so i guess tweaking with my engine is not my plan.

thanks
