Hey man!
Funny story. I bought the Montego Blue car sight unseen. It was featured in turbo magazine and has every mod under the sun. My first changes were going to be 1) Remove the ghetto spoiler 2) paint over the ghetto flames.
Then I saw it in person. The flames are awesome. The spoiler looks great. I had the exact same feelings as you did from the pictures but when you see it in person it really looks great. Would I ever swap out and put flames or that spoiler on my 99 spec. HELL NO. But on that car it just looks bad to the bone.
I will throw some more pics of the 99 spec on the track tearing up some cobras. May take a sec as I am just getting the hang of posting pictures. This was actually just a test. I did not think anyone would be interested in my rides. So many sick fd's on these boards.
By the way the 2 red FD up above are sick. I love them!!!

The MB one was the in May 06 issue of "TURBO & High-Tech Performance". I have that issue right here beside me. I have to say that the mag photos look pretty damn sweet. Mag says it has the Greddy T78. I was impressed with this FD when I read about it in the mag and I'm still impressed with it.
A few questions if you don't mind answering: How much lag is there with the T78? If you care to share...how much did the good doctor receive for this FD?

The Dr was from Colorado. The car is now in PA.
The chick I have no idea but if you know where they are maybe we should ride over to their house tonight (The dr. hired the models)
All the info on the Montego is still on the Dr. site http://www.thedocsrides.com/
It has Dyno sheets, and a mods list. Check out his eclips and supra as well. I saw the eclips in person. Its awesome.
His wife told him he had to sell the cars!! I got lucky! The mermaid on the Eclips is his wife! Pretty cool.

What a sight...3 FD's in the same garage and not one of them is a parts car Seriously, your cars look great. I've often thought it would be great to have one in each color: VR, BB, CH, CYM.
If you don't mind sharing, what brand and model 4-post lift do you have and where did you buy it from? I am considering putting one in my shop also.

Hoping you wouldnt ask!!!! When I got to CO the Montego was not acting right. Oil spot and had to rev to get her going. Towed her back home to PA and took her straight to KD Rotary. BLOWN REAR ROTOR.
So I have no idea about lag or how it performs. My 99 puts down 350 to the rear and it scares the hell outta me. I can't wait to see what 447 feels like. I am debating on a all out 2 rotor or perhaps a 3 rotor. Still have not decided.
I paid just a tick over 20k for it. It was the deal of the century until I found out it had the blown motor. Now I think I got an deal on it but not the deal of the century. Everything else is perfect except the motor.
It has a awesome removable sterio, roll cage, and everything else under the sun. Peep out the site I gave a link to above and check out what alls in it!.
Thanks again for all the intrest guys!!

Damn, sometimes I wonder if my FD was worth paying 18k for just because it only had 26k miles and the reliability upgrades. Sometimes I think I should've found one that had close to 400rwhp in good shape so that I wouldn't have to be racking my brain trying to get my FD to the 400 mark.
