My $4500 FD

Bought her from a junkyard in Oct
Had a small engine fire

Just got her running 2 days ago................like a dream

I was there when it came back to life - he has to be the luckiest dude I know! Looks like a reman engine was dropped in, the fuel system wasn't pressure tested properly, it leaked and caught fire. Damage was actually VERY minor, just under the upper intake manifold. Sucker runs like a CHAMP.

i actually thought it was an ugly barnie purple at first, til you posted the 2nd set of pics. awesome! i wish i could score an FD for that price and condition to be my daily driver.

Amazing find man. How many miles on the chassis? Looks like a reman motor. Wish I could get a find like that. No junk yard around me would ever have anything like that. Reminds me of when I found my AMG for $500.
