What kind of 60 ft times are you guys averaging with these tires?

Also what air pressure do you guys run?

And what RPM do you guys launch at?

I have mickey thompsons on my trans am... I run about 10-12 psi depending on my nitrous shot and the weather... street tires i was averaging a 2.2-2.4 60 ft time.. the slicks brought me down into the 1.7 range...

Launching at idle >.<
31*10.5 inch tires

I know its not a rx7.. but it gives you a good idea... so in conclusion... I will buy a set of mt's for my fd when i have the money

Oh another note... i dont use the tubes in them or have them screwed into the rims like some guys do... (the hold air for about a week) I have run them down the highway at like 60-70 mph with 30 psi in them.... It was ok although i wouldent do that often

 

I went from 1.95 with street tires to 1.65 with ET streets. I launch at 7K with the ET's and I had 15 psi in them

 

wow a 7k launch, isnt that a little high? what kind of 1/4 miles do you get and with what mods?

 

I had M and H racemasters before and yeilded averaging 1.67 - 1.75 60 fts. And launching around 6500-7000.

Now I have the MT's Et Streets... hope to do well in the next drag event here.

 

I run 12psi on my ET Streets.

1.55 last year but I should be dropping that down to 1.30's this year.

I launched at 8K last year.

I'll be using a two step this year set at 7K.
