NY Mspec Intercooler

Just had a quick question regarding the GREDDY MSPEC REPLICA INTERCOOLER taht Jason @ rx7store sells. It's a replica of the FMIC that GREDDY discontinued a few years ago.Wanted to know if anybody owns and is curently using one and what are their personal opinions of this intercooler kit. I'm tempted by the price of this kit and according to Jason, it's definately a steal @ da price.I'm building up my FD for street use.Nothing serious, don't plan on taking the car to the track. I already have a big KOYO radiator under the hood and have a ALUMINUM AST tank and everything else under the hood is pretty much stock.I plan on going the SINGLE turbo route and plan on installing a GT40R kit as well as streetporting my stock engine.Don't want to spend $1500 on an intercooler kit if I don't have to,Thanks!

Greddy released the Mspec to compete with all the ebay knockoffs. It will work fine for your application. If you plan to run a lot of boost in the future you may want something larger though.

Greddy made the LS spec to replace the M spec but they discontinued that also. Right now there really isnt a cheap Greddy intercooler. The replica is fine for a street car. We have used it many times with no problems.

Thanks guys.Thank you Jason for da extra info.I did some research on the MSPEC & the LS and yes they both did get discontinued.I noticed GREDDY raised their prices on most of their items especially their turbo kits and intercooler kits. I'm pretty much sold on the MSPEC Replica kit. I appreciate the feedback you've been giving me Ihor on my current rotary situation. I'll be calling you at the shop soon to speak about the car and my plans for it.
