Movement of Clutch Cover(Pressure plate)

How far does the "fingers" actually move back, when i press on my clutch pedal it only seems to move the "fingers" back about a 1/4 of an inch if that...

the fingers do not move much, the pp should move away from the flywheel about point 030 to let the clutch plate rotate freely
