mounting gauges...

Just wondering where you guys mounted your gauges... I have the pillar look all on one side... I like them to be a little hidden, but not too much so they're a glance away... I got new DEFI gauges and was either going to mount them straight up on the dash or place them under the stereo headunit where that compartment used to be (if any one has a mounting pod for there it'd b great, cuz I like that option the best, and I'm lazy to make one out of fiber glass...) also post pics of what you got, thanks...

For mounting under the radio, try a search for custom DIN plates or something similar to that. You should find a guy who made them lazer cut with holes for gauges.

I used the same panel BillM did except moved the radio to the lower spot and put the gauges on top for better visibility.

Thanks guys so far, I think what i'm really looking for is a DIN panel under the radio, that tilts up alittle so the gauges are easier to read... not sure if any one has done that be4 or if that's a total custom project

Sorry dont have a pic, but using the defi link system, i have a 52mm boost gauge mounted on steering wheel, 2 60mm (oil and fuel pressure) gauges in the mickey mouse gauge pod, and im using the Defi display mounted above the center AC vents to display fuel and oil temps.

^Mickey Mouse gauges, corksport use to offer them in fiberglass too, im sure it could still be found somewhere.
