Mounted the bronze Advans
Got the Advans/Yokos I bought from BicuspiD mounted. Kinda mixed feelings on how they look on a red car(better on Scoobie blue). Silver would be better, but downgrading from 18's makes an obviously huge difference in ride and handling(and no rubbing).
The previous rims/tires are up for sale if interested. (Pic below)
Speedline New Generation 10.0" 285/35-18 & 245/40-18 Michelin Pilots (98% tread, custom lugs, super clean.)
Nevermind, I'll post in wheel/tires section.

Advans look great... i think i agree with ya about the color... they would look a little better on say like a black car or a blue one, but still, drop it and get a lip and i think they'll look even better

Yep 99 or R1 lip coming up. Funny thing is the car already has a 1" drop Eibach Progressive kit. Doesn't look like it anymore with the 17's. Tires aren't even scuffed in yet so I have no opinion on the Yoko AVS ES100's just yet.
I'll measure the offset on the speedlines. They were originally donated to Tim Allen's Saleen Daytona Mustang team back in '97. They arent even DOT-legal.

Dang dude, I usually dont like the stock base look as much as I do 7s that have some body modifications, but yours is the best base looking car I've seen ever. Congrats on that. Also, the bronze rims look awesome. I like them better than the silver ones. Again, very nice looking car.

I think the silver matches better with the red but those hew rims are tight. I love the open look but why did you go down to 17's? ...you coulda just gor 18x9's and no rubbing. Oh and without a rear wing you shouldn't get a front lip.

BicuspiD here(props to his company Bulletproof Automotive) will be sending me matching lugs(stock ones are used right now). Rich let's go with the red lugs, ok?
The car was the centerfold in Aug. 97 issue of Superstreet way back when. I'll scan and post it sometime. Still looks the same w/ no scratches. Previous owner(car collector) had it painted Caracas Red(Mitsubishi 3000GT from '97 model year). Many peeps asked for the Dupont paint code at SS6. 44k original motor and profec'd at 10psi max(I don't like living on the edge anymore with an empty wallet, lol!).
I like the look of a clean base, although considered the 99-spec wing, lip and Apex skirts.
Engine bay is still VR tho.
