Yeah mine is out right now too...if you need a clutch, flywheel, radiator, etc..do it now. Save ya time and money in the long run.

So you are going to pull the engine, take it apart and look at it, not rebuild it, and put it back together? Sounds like a waste of time to me. Why don't you just do a compression test and be done with it?

I agree...

However, if you are going through the trouble you may as well:

1. Have your injectors cleaned and flow balanced
2. Replace coolant lines
3. Clean the engine bay
4. Have any parts polished that you want polished
5. Good time for the vacuum hose job if it hasn't been done

no im not opening the motor!!!! im pulling the motor for a cleaning in the engine bay and doing the secondary injectors (which i know doesnt require to pull the motor) im plus i need to change the wire harness too so ima just do everything at once besides the expensive part...lol... ill wait till she dies on me then rebuild.

It's totally your choice, but you can clean up the engine bay pretty well with the engine still in there. You ever see how clean used-car dealerships get the engine bays? It seems like the reasons you are giving for pulling the engine can all be done with the engine still in place. Pulling it out is not a small job.

Wow, hats off to you dude...I thought I was **** but you take the cake...Gonna pull the engin and clean the bay huh? Wow! I think you should just save yourself some time and pull it when it needs a rebuild...you can replace your injectors and clean the bay really well without having to pull it...

no its not only that every hole that is left open from removing all the emissions are gunna be welded because block off plates dont seal good enough.
