Most likely alternator problem. Cosmo replacement?
Hey guys.
So I had some issues with the car today. In traffic all of a sudden the I lost radio and CD player and the car was in limp mode. Break-up under boost, 4wABS and Charge battery light on. Later at a stop light, EXTREME break up at take-off and after about 10 seconds it started driving again.
Silly me decided to pull off and shut her down. Wouldn't start again. Just clicking. Got a jump and made it home. Shut her down and wouldn't start again. The battery holds charge until I drive the car so I suspect the Alternator.
1. Am I correct in this assumption?
2. My buddy has a spare Cosmo 20b alternator. Can I use it on my car?
As always, thanks for the info guys!

I can't comment on the Cosmo alternator (I would assume it's the same), but it sounds like you have an alternator problem, not a battery problem. I had the same thing happen to me, I replaced the battery but it didn't help. I got the alternator rebuilt; now it works like a charm.
