More Fuego Racing fun, need help again.

Some of you are up on my story posted here:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/experts-needed-fun-game-called-580244/

Well, as I have dove in and been fixing all the crap Fuego Racing broke, and replacing pieces he removed, I have seen more things the farther I go. Once I got the UIM off, I noticed tat the solenoid rack he put back in was not mine, it had all Mazda original hoses, when I had done a Silicone hose job 2 years ago. And the rack wasn't even hooked up, it was just placed in there to fool me into thinking he had reinstalled it. The Airpump was put back in, but not the pipe that connects it to the Cat, so it wasn't really doing anything, just trying to fool me.

Well, now I may be at an impass of being able to fix all his screw ups. Please look at this photo and tell me if there is anytyhing I can do.

This is taken from under the car, it is the bottom of the turbos. It looks like he removed the Turbo control solenoid and welded the hole shut???? What would this do? Can this be undone? Will I ever get my car back to the beautiful Sequental setup that it was when I brought it to him?

By the way, like what he did to my rim/tire?

Say bye-bye to a working sequential setup. This guy is the biggest hack I have ever seen, and that's saying a LOT.

Usually when you find parts in your car that arn't yours and shouldn't have been replaced, means they're being taken to be resold.

No way to undo it other than getting a new/used stock exhaust manifold

You'll have to remove the turbos and the manifold (which is a pain in the ***), and get a sequential manifold.

I can't believe this guy just takes it upon himself to convert customer's cars to non-seq, or even worse n/a......

It can all be done, but it will take some time. Parts cost shouldn't be that bad, though, and that manifold will have to be replaced, which is REALLY crappy.

If you get over your head, I'd be happy to help out with the repair. I know I can get your car 100%.

Dale, you can probably pay off your mortgage fixing all the jacked-up cars that have rolled out of that guy's 'shop'

I doubt enough to pay off a mortgage in California. Another reason Cali sucks.

Yeah with there being rust on the manifold, and the weld not looking to recent, I am assuming that is not my original manifold.

Judging by the work I've seen so far, I'd say he has very few thoughts of any kind cluttering his mind.

Different parts, different setups, non-functioning stuff... this 'work' looks like a pure heist. If the guy really can rebuild engines, I'd still be very afraid of what's going inside that I can't see from the outside.

Wow, here's one case where the Mazda service department has been surpassed in incompetence. It's like a horror story where I can see you finding stuff wrong with your car years from now after you think you've gotten everything fixed.

How exactly would you prove that in court? What evidence would/could yoiu offer? As far as getting in the guys face, anybody who would do that would not care. Unless you want to commit a crime you have no recourse. I was thinking of using Fuego also but heard some horror stories, not as bad as this. Best thing we can do is spread the word and protect other Forum members.

This is exactly why we need to have a section on this forum that provides information on maintenance experiences that forum members go through.

Based on what I have read so far I would not let Fuego change my oil!!

Just searched the ''Goog Guy, Bad Guy'' section. The only thing that comes up under Fuego is by the guy who started this thread. Besides, that section is supposed to be for feedback on individuals, not businesses. We really do need a Vendor feedback section.

Wow. That's really shitty. Its unbelievable how dishonest some people can be...

Good thing I came accross this thread tho, cuz I need a rebuild on a TII in the Orlando area. I called some shops and after getting estimates, Fuego and Ortiz Racing where my top choices. I guess I should take it to Ortiz in light of all this...

It's funny cuz I have talked to some guys that dealt with Fuego a few years back and they had pretty good things to say about them, that they built really strong motors. Again that was a couple years ago so things must've changed...

There are a few on this Forum who vehemently defend Fuego but I know of this guy and one other from up here in Jacksonville who have recieved, shall we say, less than stellar service.
