More Exhaust Questions

I just installed the racing beat dual tip exhaust and I have two questions. 1. It was sunday and no parts stores were open so I just reused my old gasket, is this OK or should I get a new one?? 2. After I hung the new exhaust, I noticed that the seam on the muffler canister (which sticks out about 1.5cm) was touching the heat shield next to the gas tank. I looked and from what I coudl tell, the heat shield is about 1 cm away from the gas tank, is this OK?? Thanks for the help

By the way, the racing beat exaust sound great.

The gasket is probably OK. You should have it checked for leaks to be sure. The fit isn't right. You should have more clearance. When you take it to check for leaks, see if something can be done to lower the exhaust just a little.

I like my RB exhaust too.
