Mods done, now fans kill my engine

Ok. Did a Koyo, Greddy 2 row, Greddy elbow and battery relocation. I broke my A/C condenser like an idiot trying to "gently" bend the hard pipes and lost all the Freon.
Now the car starts great and runs fine untill the fans come on-then it just dies. no sputtering or anything, just dead. It will do this if I let the fans come on from heating of the engine or when I hit the A/C in the 3 or 4 position.
I removed the fans fuse and the car still runs when I hit the A/C. Put the fuse back and just unplugged the fans. Same thing, car runs fine when fans are commanded to come on.
I want to think the fans are bad but they run slowly when the key is on and engine isn't running.
Volt meter in the car reads 13V when it's running.

-Did I screw something up when I pulled the front bumper off?
-I know the pressure switch in the A/C keeps the compressor from spinning but am I missing something else?
-Any suggestions? I need to fix this so I can Bring my car to Pettit for a tranny rebuild Tuesday. Argggh!

You still have to have the aircon pressure switch connected for it to run,it doen't matter if you have no gas it will sense it and not turn on your compressor anyway. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 30 minuates to reset the cars e.c.u. because it may have to remap for the work you've done or it could have gone into a kind of limp mode

Ground problem? It's possible that a bad ground could cause this. Search for threads on grounds.

Reset the ECU with no change. Getting no trouble codes either. How do the crash sensors relate to the fan/cooling system?

How did the fans run before all of this?

I don't know how to explain it but I think you shorted something out, when you damaged the a/c compressor lines, and now when the fans come online it makes your car run like a$$.

the fans were fine before i started. The car doesn't run at all when they come on it just dies instantly. I don't think it has anything to do with the a/c as it does the same thing if i let it run up to fan starting temp-when the fans try to start-car dies. I guess i"ll pull off the bumper again and start looking for anything strange.
thanks for the help!

Does it die no matter what or just doesn't idle? Do the fans spin freely by hand?

I dies like I just turned the key off, the fans spin freely and even run slow with the key on and car not running (not sure if it's supposed to do that or not).

This is a ground problem had the same one while ago, make sure you plug all the wires correctly and don't leave any wires unpluged

I dont know why its doing that but i do suggest you remove all your AC components

Could the 2 white flat connectors up there need to be bolted down?

Those crash sensors are one of the many grounding points. They could have everything to do with this problem and theygave me weeks of trouble and other people to. So are they bolted down or not?

Those flat white connectors are some grounding point. make sure you ground them back to the body with some sheetmetal screw or something.

Thanks for all the help. I completely spaced these 2 ground connectors and stuffed them up under the support! Cars runs great and temps are cool on the freeway in 90 deg. plus today on the way to pettit. Cant wait to get the car back!
