Mods to be done

I have my car in storage right now but plan on getting a dp/mp, racing beat dual tip, ast, greddy pulley kit (to eliminate the airpump), boost controller. I talked to another member and he said if i plan on eliminating the airpump i may want to consider putting a replacement pulley there, i was just wondering what you guys think, has anyone else done this an does this help. He said that if i dont then there may be limited belt contact to the water-pump pulley. Please let me know thanks.

that's possibly true, at high speed and worn belt. i have the greddy pulleys and they seem to work fine. i have no way of testing if the belt slips, but i don't have any overheating problem and the engine temp stays pretty constant. i think the amount of contact to water pump may be of problem if your car 's pulling 600+ HP. but if you're really paranoid, you can get pineapple racing's airpump replacement pulley

http://www.pineappleracing.com/ProdSvcs1.html

for somereason the page to the specific product id down. but u can see a pic of it at the bottom left of the page.

anyone can verify the belt slipping from not enough waterpump pulley contact??
