Interesting to see. I believe there is a guy in southern Ohio who has a similar set up on his FD. From what I was told, it does very well.

Good Luck

Why not have a smoother entry pattern into the runners of the UIM, instead of theat vertical wall before the runners? I am not sure..just guessing..but wouldn't it better to have a smooth non-trubulent flow into the runners? or it doesn't really matter since the air is pretty much gonna be stored there until the port opens so the pressurised air at the runnering will flow in and the air around follow after? either way.i still think it would be better to have smooth entry and exits to the plenum. What you all think?

Been driving a few miles now and everything feels great.

Dyno within 2 weeks, will hopefully be on both vpower and e85, also between this manifold and oem manifold

yesterday the car put down 448.8rwhp@7100 and 13.9psi on pump, the curve is still pointing straight up so there is still more to find.

Now i've changed wastegate spring and maybe we can get it boosting some more.

Thanks guys,

It is a greddy t78 turbo. Havn't tried the stock manifold yet, but from an earlier dyno with exact same motor/turbo setup it made 379rwhp on 15psi, pretty untuned though.

New thread in the single turbo forums with a new dyno run at 17.4psi!

It is all about reliability, to achive highest hp with as low boost as possible. even if i only get 3-5% better flow with this manifold its still better than stock, 5% on a 600hp car is 30hp, why boost 1.5-2psi more to achive the same power?

This is my hobby, i love my car and i don't see it as "trouble i have to go through", its fun to create something. Since im doing all the work myself its only my time i invest.
Well said and well done. I built a custom manifold for my FD as well, actually looks to have pretty similar plenum volume as yours also.
