Of course, there's no engine/rad/anything else in the engine bay... but they look real nice as I push it around in my parking garage.

Short answer is they are 17x9, +45mm offset in the rear and 17x8, +38 offset in front... For now...

Search the Suspension forums for opinions on those tires. The consensus is that most people don't like them on the FD. Not enough grip.

 

Yes alberto_mg, that's what I've seen/read here and elsewhere as well. I'm much less interested in the tires than I am the wheels.

I'll probably check to see what kind of lat g's I can pull at a track just for comparisons sake and then replace them with something r compound. With my old motor/turbo setup on my stock wheels and ES100's I could get up to about 1.15-1.2g. With my new setup I should be 100-200 pounds less, plus wider tires, so I'm hoping for 1.3+ g's.

 

i have the kuhmos estcas on my FD and can say for mild street applications.. it's ok..

Tires are everything, especially if you're a track gooroo (no pun intended). Althought it's been a LONG time since I autocrossed I love the traction of my S0-3 pole positions. Invest in a set I guarantee you won't regret it.

 

My bad, I meant, I'm much less interested in using these tires, as I am in using these rims.

In other words, I don't think the tires are good (for track use) and they will likely be replaced pretty quickly. The rims I love and I'll keep for a long time.

In any case there's some R compound Pirellis on Tire Rack that are inexpensive that I might try out.

Yep, all I need to do is paint them black and pickup the batsuit and I'm good to go.
