I drove my car this morning and the mileage/trip display was working fine. Then i went out maybe an hour later, started my car and the display was blank but the orange back light still works and dims when i turn my lights on. Anyone have any suggestions on what the problem may be or how to go about fixing it? Where does the display get its signal from to display the mileage/trip?
Any input is greatly appreciated

 

Also im not sure if it makes a difference or not but all my other gauges are working fine without any issues.

 

my odometer went out also, i had to send it in for repair. Im not sure where i seen it but some new people started doing repairs on the clusters, i would get that fixed asap, it does not record the miles you do to your car.
