Midpipe ( restriction ) questions

After experiencing some problems with my cat, I was going to switch to an HF, however given what I want the car to be in the long run, I'm looking into a bonez resonated midpipe instead. (i know bonez was the choice for HF cat... are their midpipes just as good?)

currently on the car:

stock twins @ 12psi, (wastegate untouched AFAIK)
greddy intercooler
hks intake
unkown downpipe
stock cat
RB catback
power FC (no commander)
koyo radiator

now i'm sure i'll need some sort of restriction to prevent boost creep, JyRO was making these plates before but he hasnt logged in in over a month...

1. where can I find them for sale?

also, certain people posted against restriction plates: "who knows what sort of side effect sticking a plate in the exhaust might have"

2. has ANYONE using restriction plates run into any problems..?

and lastly, eventually I will be moving to the BNR's....

3. are their wastegates good enough to handle a straight through exhaust? will I still need the plate?

thanks all!

You can make one. They are basically just a gasket with a smaller opening. Jyro created some with various sizes so people could use what worked for them. I think he did three sizes of 2.25, 2.5 and 2.75 inches.

They are idiots.

Bryan's ported wastegate should be fine with his turbos and a full exhaust.

PM JyRO. He's still around and has plates on hand. I know since I bought a set from him today.
