Miata Seats
Trying to decide if I want to reskin my seats or get bucket seats, but seeing how I want to keep the car as stock as possible in this area, I am leaning towards a kit from leatherseats.com.
But, seeing how the stock seats in a miata look so close to that of an FD....will they fit as these are probably easier to find.
Just was curious.

I'm sure they fit, the Miata's seats certainly can't be bigger than the FD's. If I remember correctly, Mazda used some Recaro (sp?) seats from a Miata special edition on one of the later FD's in Japan.
The question is why you'd want to use them. The FD has the nicest car seats I've ever had the pleasure to spend time in. My roommate had an S2000 and those seats were better than the Miata but no where close to the FD and his 98 Volvo C70 seats are still garbage compared to the FD and that thing is a luxo-barge. I've daily driven a 99 Miata for the last 3 1/2 years and I wouldn't wish those seats on anybody. There's a price you pay for a 15lb seat, and it's comfort.
