Miata Recaro Seats fitment

I know there’s a big long list of seats that fit and don’t fit, but if anyone is looking for seats that give an OEM+ look and feel, the Miata recaros are a great choice. Slightly snug where the seat pivots, other than that they fit just about perfect on OEM rails. Does add a little head room and leg room as well. Disclaimer you do need to buy or make a bracket to adapt them to fit.

mounting points are very close to OEM, difference being the Miata seat is side mount and fd is bottom mount. Could get crafty with a piece of angle iron and make your own. They feel about the same weight if not lighter. I didn’t weigh before I installed. I can take a pic of the rails with brackets when I get home

There's probably a thread about this somewhere but I have the YouTube video saved of a guy that did this a few years ago
