metal shavings in uim
ok so i just finished removing my double throttle and mine is a 94 so I had to drill the damn screws out. thing is in the process of drilling I got metal shavings in the UIM. I am wondering what the best method for getting these out is? any info would be great. oh yeah and when I get my block off plates will I need to still put a bolt in the hole where the shaft was?

Pull off the UIM and wash or blow it out. If it went down the LIM then you'll need to pull that off and do the same.
It can easily ruin your motor, don't take any chances.

I know this is an old thread but take off all vacuum caps that might be on and blow air from the outside in. If you leave the caps on the shavings will collect in them, and may be sucked out once installed.
