when im going slow, like creeping to a light or in those sections at meijer/kroger where you have to stop for pedestrians. hear a sound like metal dragging. Ive looked and found nothign inder my car. the ONLY thing I can think of is the metal chute that rams air on the disc brake. any ideas?

 

Did you check your brakes? Perhaps the pads are worn and you are hitting the wear indicators?

 

its more of a grinding noise. not a whine. I looked at it today when I was changing my oil and the shoot was VERY close to the rotor so I bent it out a bit. ill be leaving here soon hopefully and ill see if I fixed it.

 

its still going on. it happens when im going really slow regadless of my brake pedal being pressed or not. help

Check for a twig or some type of debris stuck between your rotor and dust shield. Or even your dust shield being bent and touching a brake rotor.
