Melted bumper lip

Well, today I parked my car after a nice drive to work and I came back to find that my rear bumper lip was melted all over the place above the exhaust. What material was that thing made of. I have a FRP diffuser coming in so I don't really care too much, but will the same thing happen with the FRP diffuser? Does FRP also melt?

Just ensure that your hangers are set up so that your bumper does not touch the diffuser. If it has any contact with the diffuser, it will melt it as well...
