I was wondering if anyone had one of those Haynes manuals for our cars on cd... Just would be handy. I have to replace my knock sensor cause my check engine light keeps comming on occasionally and cutting down my boost. Either that or a hose is pinched or blew off.

 

What code do you have?

 

Don't know about Haynes but you might check out Ebay. There's generally a half dozen or more people selling the Mazda factory manual (repair and parts) on CD. As I recall, about $5 plus shipping.

 

I got a manual on cd from ebay and it was just trash. It was the same as the on line PDF. What code is setting?

 

...mmm got the sheet out in my car. I got an air intake, solenoid, and knock sensor. The wierd thing is that some days she runs fine and others runs shitty. Its smooth either way, i just loose boost when the check engine light comes on. I almost think its a solenoid because when i accelerate and the turbo spools the check engine light goes on. When i let off the gas the light goes off.

 

P.S. I will let you know tomorrow what codes exactly are showing. Just got done studying for 2 tests tomorrow. Need some *** to release stress. I hate school!!
