It's a moment that I'm sure everyone anticipates at one time or another. But this moment for me was a long time in the making (almost 15 months!).

I knew when it started that it would be a life long affair, a love filled, (worry) filled one, but it didn't matter, I was overjoyed. Today, was a small culmination of that joy.

The first trip was a little hesitant one, just to the local Safeway you know. A few shakedown runs, not too fast, don't want to scare baby right!

Then a much longer trip (again, not too fast), but still quite a journey for us three. I'm sure everyone has been on this trip, but probably quite like I have (or very few minority).

Today we strapped in the car seat and took the FD and my 15 month old baby girl for a trip around town

(The airbag is disabled btw). Any other pops use their FD + kids? (I know I'm getting old now...)
