Mazdaspeed Trailing Arm Bushings

There are paint marks on the bushings. Anybody know what the marks are are "instructing" the installer to do?

Do the marks go on the inside? The outside? Top? Bottom? What are they for?

To the best of my knowledge the trailing arm bushings can be installed in any orientation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't know John, it would seem reasonable, they are just bushings, but there are large paint marks on one side of each bushing.

There is a slight "lip" on the rubber on the side the paint marks are on. I suspect it means "this side in" or "this side out".

u plan on pressing them out yourself?

corksport should know if u give them a call. but the lip goes on the outside. the bushings go in one way.

Thanks Potatochobit. I am going to run them over to a shop with a press. A lot easier.

I was planning on calling Corksport Monday.

The MazdaSpeed trailing arm pushings can be pressed in from any direction.

I have them and they do help control wheel hop.

cewrx7r1, what about the paint marks. Any obvious reason for them?

When I looked at mine before installation and at the original one in the arms, I could not see any physical differences.

That is like when a women asks which pair of shoes goes best with her outfit and they both are the same color and almost same style. FAKE IT!

The paint marks mean that you should ship the bushings to me.

I don't think it makes a difference but cast into the trailing arms is a small arrowhead pointer. I lined the paint mark on the bushing up with the arrow on the trailing arm. I seriously doubt it matters though.

Damn! Lo and behold, there is an arrow. Thanks DamonB.

$95 bucks at Corksport Max. I'm taking off a worn Petitt launch kit and trying the middle ground with these bushings.
