Arrow Mazdaspeed Short Shifter Question?

Hi,

I just have a quick question about the Mazdaspeed short shifter:

"Do you have to use the stock metal boot to install this short shifter?"

I know B & M and some others come with their own metal boot, but this one unfortunately didn't. Anyone have some experience/input? Please advise.....

Thanks,

Rizwan

What boot are you talking about?

There should be an adapter that goes on top of the flange that the shifter goes in.

My mistake about the terminology. Viper_u27 answered my question. I was wondering about the "shifter base". Thanks guys!

I didn't even know I had it. I purchased a B & M shifter and when I opened it up it was definitely not B & M. Did some research and figured out I got hooked up .
