Mazda's Oe Cat replacement policy?
Anyone know anything about this ?
My car has 59k in it and my primary cat is clogged.. Someone once said that mazda has to replacethem for the first 10 years or something like that..
ANyone know anything about that ?

Sorry man I dont think it's 10...I think it's either 7 or 8..I dont have my warranty manual with me, but if you have that it's in there somewhere..
I'm thinking 7 yrs/80K miles....whichever comes first...so it's the years that get you.

This comes from my warranty handbook. The Catalytic Coverter,
Electronic Emission Control Unit, and the Onboard Emission Diagnostic Device are covered for 96 months or 80,000 miles from the date of purchase. If you have a 94 or later, depending on the date the car was originally sold, you may still be in luck. (Even a '93 may make it, if it was sold late in the model run.)
