Except aftermarket parts...Or mods like Rx8 starter upgrade etc etc..
The basic of the engine is the same...
They haven't found Adamantium Seals yet...

A 2015 Rx7 Aftermarket Upgrades would sell like hot buns

I've been wanting that book by Brian Long since I got seriously interested in RX-7's. Every copy out there seems to be silly money though.

The publisher's been promising an e-book version for over a year now. Still waiting...

Cool

Brian Long in Amazon new starts at $1442.50, but you can get one used at$999.
What a deal!!!
For that price it better be printed in gold leaf lettering on parchment with a solid gold hard bound cover.
Honestly, this book should be in the Washington Smithsonian Museum.

Agreed.....I want to make it my mission to find them in the small local book stores and then list them online.....I definitely wont be parting with mine.

amazon uses some demand pricing algorithm, i have a Ferarri GTO book
Ferrari 250 Gto (Landmarques): Keith Bluemel, Jess Pourret: 9781901432152: Amazon.com: Books Ferrari 250 Gto (Landmarques): Keith Bluemel, Jess Pourret: 9781901432152: Amazon.com: Books
this one in fact. its a neat book, with only 39 cars, each one gets a page.

anyways i referred a friend, and he came back and said i can't afford it, so i looked and it was like $500! and you see now its not $500.

same thing will happen with your brian long book, once everyone stops checking it, it'll become attainable to the average working stiff

Funny story,In 2001 I flew to Atlanta to to buy my FD,I bought the car and stayed in a hotel overnight to drive back home the next day...the seller lent me his copy to read overnight. If I knew it would be worth that much now he never would have got it back

My car is actually the silver FD used in many pictures throughout the Mike Ancas book back when it belonged to the previous owner. First thing I did was ditch the silver painted R1 lip. Haha.

I'd love one of those books. But for those on a government employee (or similar) budget, this (IMHO) is a good read and reference.....
