Mazda Rx-7 FD Drift build
So I'll Keep Updating this thread slowly as time goes andI get more parts,
but im taking delivery of my Mazda rx-7 sometime this week, when i do, i'll take a picture and upload it here...
But about this drift build, i dont know as much about the wankle rotary as much as a standard piston driven engine... so im going to ask for help....
I bought this Mazda from a friend of my parents and he said that theres only one problem...
He said that the car will just fully shut off like the engine gives out, and i asked about what that could be on my first post...
i got to searching and its a couple of things that the problem could be...
it could be the alternator, ignition switch, sensors, or the fuel pump...
I do NOT want to take it to the body shop until i want it repainted a midnight purple III...
How do I figure out what is the problem?

give more details. HOW does it shut off? suddenly like you took the key out? sputters and dies? whats done to the car? how many miles are on it? has it been maintained? there are a million factors here. be more descriptive please
I dont know atm, at 6 pm central time ill be taking delivery but i'll definitly tell you what it does when it dies... but as far as ive been told he says it just shuts off like the key has been taken out, or thats what he has described it to me as so far....
I would start with fuel. Put a permanent fuel pressure gauge on the car. If you see anything out of the ordinary while driving, replace the fuel pump hanger (it has a connector that goes bad) and put in a supra Denso pump.
