which mazda parts are interchangable?

while looking around for a more modern looking steering wheel, or at least something with the mazda logo, i found quite a few choices. i like the look of the jdm and nardi steering wheels and even the efini. i think the one i want is the one that looks like the miata steering wheel. it's just the one with the mazda logo on the airbag cover.

dunno if they're all made by nardi or what but, i like the look of this wheel.

while looking at the miata wheel i thought, is it interchangable with other mazdas? it'd be great if the miata and FD steering wheels were interchangable. finding a miata wheel seems easier and cheaper than the jdm equivalent. i was also wondering what other parts are interchangable. i've seen people with rx8 shift ***** but has anyone tried swapping rx8 seats into their rx7? how about pedals? what parts have you swapped?

i'm gonna try and go to a salvage yard this week to look for a few parts and would like to check out the mazda section while i'm there. definitely wanna find a mazda badge for the FD. hope to find some other useful parts...or at least a few i could resell lol.

Everything you mention has been done except the pedals.

Spend a few min. Searching and you will find the answers.

If you search, you'll find out what parts are interchangeable. You can even search the for sale section. Hell I'll give you a name to look up. Ze power mx6.

Please please search. This forum has TONS of info.

Use my typical approach, buy an item and see if it fits. More seriously why heavier RX-8 seats in an FD The RX-8 diff cover fits the FD, and the 2nd gen 8 cover has fancier cooling fins.

Yes, the Nardi wheel is beautiful. I want one, too.
