Just thought I would share the information I found about the Mazda Heritage replacement TPS available for LHD cars as its not a direct plug and play as we wished it would have been. It is not currently available in the US Mazda dealer parts network today, but can still be had from other vendors or Mazda parts in Japan. This new P/N N3Y1-13-SL0 replaces both the long discontinued P/N N3A1-18-911 and N3A2-18-911 originally equipped on 93-95 rx-7s
The new sensor P/N N3Y1-13-SL0 has to have you splice in a new twin connector harness along with adding an adapter to the throttle body itself which comes in the kit. The downside to this it that it now is in the way of the oil filter removal. Making you have to unplug the TPS, loosen the mounting screws and rotate it up, and then returning it to its original position once finished. This looks like a big pain in the rear. On the plus side its not a replacement used sensor as new has been discontinued for several years and all aftermarket new sensors have been extinct now also.

Thanks for sharing the info. I wonder why they don't give you the mating connector and terminals so thay you can attach the new harness to the existing connector without splicing. Or even easier would be for them to pre-attach the connector on to the harness...

Or better yet, remaking the original so it just works without a rework.
Thanks for doing the homework on this. I'm happy to see support still coming out for this car after 30 years being discontinued here in the USA, even if it's not a perfect OEM replacement.

I'm not a fan of splicing, especially because of the fact if I decide to revert to the original. I had ordered a kit just prior to your post. It should be coming soon. I just ordered one of these which hopefully should make the harness portion plug and play with no splicing needed:
Sorry, but. Ew. Mazda failure here. My friends and I have been running this for a while now. Works great. No extra steps required. Trouble is, not for OEM ECU. But, it's 2025... https://www.raceonly.com.au/product/fd3s-rx7-tps-pnp/
