if the parts are still available that is!!!!! if you need to source OEM parts from Mazda dont even bother with other Mazda POS dealers just call Ray and save yourself time and big-o-money. O hell even guys at Mazdatrix will refer you to Ray for parts. There is simple no other better source For your OEM stuff then from Ray.

ima jump on goodfellasfd3s' post with the same comment, all sorts of dealers/anything sell for whatever they want to, no real rules or regulations but RAY CROWE at Malloy mazda is THA BOMB!!! Always knows exactly what your talking about and has no problem answering any questions, ordered rear suspension bushings from him on his march sale and got them for NEXT TOO NOTHING and the next day, and im in socal!!!

those pricy spark plugs probably belonged to the rx-8. they are iridium tipped and way more expensive. they do work for the Fd aswell

Not sure but I thought there was something that required them to support emissions related systems for a minimum number of years.

Personally I'm not all that surprised at what any dealership tried to charge for a set of spark plugs. A poor analogy maybe, but to me it's like going to a nice restaurant, great ambience, wait staff, music etc. But you pay 5 times as much for the same food if you bought it at the grocery store and ate it at home. Someone has to pay for that expensive frontage, fancy eye-catching building archetecture, annoyingly loud TV advertising campaign and big screen in the service waiting area. Ain't free enterprise great.
