Mazda Brake Master Cylinder
I just found out the Mazda no longer makes brand new brake master cylinders, they are all reman units. I ordered one from Ray, it was on $90 plus the $50 core charge. The reman unit does not come with a resivour, which sucks. I cant believe that they no longer make new units.
I use one for a 929 and modified it so that no new lines were needed and I did not rebend any lines .It works great ,so firm. I have the good stock one but not the resivour . The 929 cyl came with a new resivour that does not have the clutch line nipple .
Might also want to call around to local parts stores. I haven't checked for the FD, but there's a local parts place that stocks new FC hydraulics - brake master, clutch master, clutch slave. The parts are from Tokico, who made the parts for Mazda.
