Max. boost on 99 spec twins

Wonder how far I can push these twins. Currently running about 14-15psi. Car is Jap spec and has less than 10,000kms. Running PFC, Sard Pump & Ext Bosch pump, ARC I/C & the usual mods. Want to boost it more but afraid will do more damage than any significant improvements.
Has anyone here boosted more than 15psi and actually gain power ? If I refer to Jap mags, none major of the tuners push more than 1 bar. Any advise will be helpful. Thank's

Yeah, I wouldn't push harder than 1 kg/cm^2, that's 14.22 psi.

I boost 1 bar due to spikes but no mods except intakes and a cat back. A friend of mine takes them 1.2 1.3 bar for 2 years now for more than 40000km without any problem. His mods are almost the same as yours.

At 1.2 you hear the turbos SCREAM

It's just great.
