Maval Manual steering and 330mm wheel, anyone have this?

Just wanting to know if anyone has this. I was wanting to get a maval rack for my rx-7, and the steering wheel I want is 330mm.

Just let me know how you like it and dislike it.

I was planning on some pretty sticky 245s all around. Something like rt615 or advan neovas....

And can it get away from you on midcorner bumps or anything like that?

P.S. this is the 2nd or 3rd time I've posted this thread in 3rd gen forum, will you fartknockers stop deleting it!!!!! It's more 3rd gen specific than FC seeing how almost no one besides FD owners do the maval gear swap.
Geez grumpy mods.......

I know a guy who's got a smaller steering wheel, with a looped line disabling his power steering. I've driven his car around a parking lot, and it feels great: the effort is no problem at all at low speeds. I haven't felt it at high cornering loads yet, but I imagine it should be nice.

You are trying to change your FC power rack to a true manual rack. Mainly because the power rack is a much quicker ratio than a factory manual. But trying to get feedback from the FD guys who are the only ones to have done the conversion.

I have better advise. I already sent Maval gear my FC power rack (3 hole). And they told me it cannot be done. The housing is not quite the same as the FD rack. And for that reason, it could not be converted. I never talked to the tech who worked on the rack, just the phone guy who was relying the info.

I still wonder if the FC 2 hole rack can be converted.

Well I don't know what they're talking about or what they do exactly, but I've taken my rack apart and have converted it to fully manual operation by cutting out the internal piston. It is most certainly possible to convert an FC power rack to manual.
