Check your local paint shops. One of the place will have either photo match or laser match. Best is to bring your car with you and they will match it. I had problems matching my MB and I had to do this.

Or get it blend in. Good bodyshop should blend it in so that you can't even tell.

Good luck!

My MB car has several areas that have been repainted and the paint matches well. I can find the spot where old paint meets new because I know where to look but nobody else has ever noticed it.

Since you're painting the entire hood and not trying to blend on the same panel I wouldn't worry at all, just use a good shop.

a good body shop should be able to do it easily. i've had some panels painted a couple times and the blend and match work looked just fine...

Blending is ****. pure and simple. You will get different fading over time and it will become more and more obvious.

Paint an entire panel and make sure the shop paint matches well to start with.
